Some things old! Some things new! And the building is BLUE!

The night of March 2, 2020, an EF3 tornado tore through the greater Nashville area damaging or destroying many of our neighbors’ houses and businesses. The 3 Crow Bar roof blew away, a few windows were smashed, but the building survived, albeit with a good deal of water damage. Rebuilding and reopening was never in question. Work started the very next day to repair the damage and replace ruined equipment and fixtures.

Now comes the task of reopening in the midst of Covid-19.  It is our goal to follow CDC and Metro Nashville Health Department guidelines closely to ensure our customers and staff are kept as safe as possible. During these challenging times we ask for everyone’s patience and support as we navigate these uncharted waters together.

Even with the new roof, new paint and a serious deep cleaning, 3 Crow Bar is still the same original East Nashville hang-out you have loved since 2004, featuring an extra-large selection of great beers on-tap and in bottles, delicious cocktails and your favorite, the famous 3 Crow Bushwacker!

The kitchen will still be serving up our delicious Bear Creek Farms grass-fed beef burgers, fantastic hot wings, yummy sandwiches and more!

Happy Hour is still 11am until 7pm, Monday through Friday. Our 2-for-1 drink specials will be back every Sunday, noon until late and Wednesday, 7pm until late. Our wonderful staff will be returning as well and they look forward to providing the same great and friendly service you’ve come to expect.

Going forward, we will be implementing risk reduction protocols based on CDC and Metro Health recommendations. Physical distancing measures will be in place with lots and lots of cleaning happening around the building all day, every day.  Our large garage-door windows in the front room and  big sliding windows in the back bar area will be open as weather permits to take advantage of fresh air and to provide extra ventilation. New rules and guidelines will be posted around the bar and shared via our social media in advance of opening and we will continue to share updates as things progress.

One more change that will be cheered by many and jeered by some is our new “smoke free” policy.  As a matter of neighborhood agreement, all bar owners in Five Points will take their bars smoke free upon reopening.  Ashtrays will be provided on the outdoor patio to accommodate our smoking customers.  3 Crow Bar service remains restricted to patrons age 21 and up and staff will check identification at the door per state law.

Finally, we want to thank all our customers and neighbors for the love and support you’ve shown us during this very difficult time. The offers of help, well wishes and words of encouragement have kept us going.  Seeing all of you back at 3 Crow is going to be a dream come true.  We have  missed all of you, we are grateful for all of you and so proud to be part of our wonderful East Nashville community.

Spread the love
